With the old wooden siding removed it’s time to get the frame wire wheeled and ready for a good coating of a Rustoleum oil-based paint. Using a Dewalt angle grinder and wire wheel I was able to quickly prep the frame for a fresh coat of paint. Based on different types of steel tubing and angle iron, it appears that this trailer has lived many different lives before I rescued it.
Since I already had all of the safety equipment and angle grinder, my cost for this phase of the project was minimal- with the only new purchase being the wire wheel attachment for the grinder.
